My name is Amy Marr.  I grew up on the Great South Bay of Long Island and am an artist in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

 

I always had a great love and appreciation for art.  In my early years, I enjoyed going to art museums and reading art books about famous works and artists.  As an adult, I had a career in computers and teaching in NJ.  It was after my retirement that I decided to reinvent myself as an artist.  I took on my new studies with intensity.

 

A resident of Murrells Inlet, SC and lover of the seashore, I take inspiration from the natural beauty of the oceanfront, bays and marshes and historic cities and towns.

I enjoy working in several genres using oil paints and pastels. I am excited to exhibit my works and offer them to the public.
